Why are the Palestinian Arabs (Muslims) special?

Daniel,

I was just reading about Germans that were ethnically cleansed from central and eastern Europe following World Wars I & II. We know that Hindus were forced to leave Pakistan when it was created. Countless aboriginal peoples of North and South America were forced out of there ancestral homes with the arrival of European settlers. We are currently witnessing ethnic cleansing of non-Arab Christians and Muslims in Sudan / Darfur.

Why is it that only the Muslims of Palestine (Gaza, Judea and Sumeria) garner the attention of the whole world?
The only answer that I have to offer is that they are Mankind's Chosen People.
