Deja Vu for BIBI?Reader comment on item: Netanyahu as Prime Minister - Déjà Vu? Submitted by Maurice (Israel), Mar 12, 2009 at 06:14 I really don't think that Binyamin Netanyahu will be able to do any better against advasaries like Iran Hezbollah, or even Hamas any more than the Kadima peope could. But then again who can - Lieberman? Israel has a "damned if it does and damned if it dosen't " problem concerning defense. The USA or Russia (to an extent) can invade someplace and not worry much about a storm being created if they kill thousands. Israel on the other hand is slapped on the wrist when it even tries to retaliate. As for Iran Mr. Ahmadinejad doesn't seem to give a diddly squat if half of his population are turned into "crispy critters" in the event he tries to nuke Israel. That's the world we live in and BIBI won't make any earthshaking changes. He knows how to play the political game - his version of it that is. At least he thinks he does.
