WIll Muslims opt for ShariaReader comment on item: Atiq Malik, British Politician, Calls for Stoning Adulterous Muslim Women Submitted by Pradeep Mohanty (United States), Mar 23, 2009 at 03:02 if Sharia law was available to Muslims in non-Islamic countries, I am wondering if they will opt for it or opt out of it. For example, will muslim women like the possibility of being charged for adultery in case of rape. Will muslim men like the idea of their hands chopped off if they were to be rightly or wrongly accused of theft? Will Muslim working married women in UK like the idea if their divorcing husbands get to keep more property (to take care of their other wives), and children in case of divorce. Let muslims in UK decide and get Sharia in its totality if they want it. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
