COMMENDING LIEBERMAN AND DAN PIPES

Three cheers for both Avigdor Lieberman on his remarkable introductory speech, and to those who, like Dan Pipes, understand his is a refreshing voice on the Israel- vs Arab situation.

An obviously clear thinker, Lieberman wiped away the diplomatic obfuscations which never truly examined the Israel vs Arab situation with neutral eyes. For most of the years since the very beginning of Israel's War of Independence, up through the following Israel "wars of Survival," the Arabs and their paid, (sic), allies, including our own USA White House and State Dept., and the Iraq Study Group, fueled with Saudi money stolen via OPEC, have presented their one-sided plans for Israel's suicide, known variously as the "Two-State solution," the Road Map, all presented as a path to Peace.

Of course, each "Plan" presumed the Arabs would meticulously keep their part of any agreements, a wholly fatuous claim, considering the Arabs have NO record of keeping any peace. Even the much hailed Egypt-Israel "Peace" has only marginally managed a stilted quiet, if one ignores the many Egyptian violations, such as not closing tight the Gaza smuggling tunnels, etc. It is a peace only with the blindness to its many Arab violations. Nor can one ignore the routinely one-sidedness of the European Community, aided by the highly partisan U.N.

The onset of Avigdor Lieberman to assist Bibi Netanyahu in his Herculean task of defending threatened Israel, willl be needed by Bibi to defend both himself and Israel from their lurking enemies. These enemies, both foreign and domestic, include the deposed and incompetent Magpie, Tzipi Livni, and our new American President, Barack Obama, revealing a distinctly pro-Arab Mideast Policy, I am extremely pleased that Dan Pipes has recognized Avigdor's value as a clear thinker, replacing the too compliant Israel Foreign Policy Establishment.
