Re: One important anomalyReader comment on item: Bibliography – My Writings on Left, Right, and Islamists Submitted by Aymenn (United Kingdom), Apr 27, 2009 at 09:36 Dear Dr Pipes: Reading your column on "The Far Right and Jihadis in Alliance", it seems that Neo-Nazis of today either (i) support Islamists and hate Israel or (ii) hate both anything to do with Islam and Israel. However, I do find one exception to all this: the National Socialist Aryan League of the Islamic Republic of Iran. This is a self-proclaimed Iranian Neo-Nazi organisation that is unabashedly in favour of Aryan supremacism in Iran. Nonetheless, whilst opposing Islam and therefore the current regime (although, interestingly, it takes a dim view of Zoroastrianism, viewing it as a corruption of Zoroaster's teachings, as well as other religions), it openly declares that it supports Israel's right to exist, saying it is "beyond dispute" and actually commended Israel's cause against Hizbullah (though it did criticise Israel's tactics). Articles published by members of this organisation can be viewed at http://www.geocities.com/aryannews/ Yours faithfully, Aymenn
