Election ChoiceReader comment on item: Support the lesser evil [in Saudi Arabia] Submitted by Larry Bohannon (United States), Jun 1, 2004 at 11:28 Thank you for explaining it so well. The Ikhwan followers hate us with a passion. We can do nothing about their hate. The attack on 9/11 proved that appeasement will not keep them from killing us. All we can do to protect ourselves is to establish a firm military control over the entire Middle East.We in America now have a choice. We can elect Kerry and go the appeasement (surrender) route, we can elect Bush and continue the war on terror. If we elect Kerry, there will be a time in the future when the emboldened Ikhwanists will gain access to nuclear weapons. They will not hesitate to use them to kill millions of innocent Americans in a future 9/11 attack. But if we elect Bush, we will protect ourselves by establishing military control over those who want to kill us. It is just that simple. I hope and pray that Americans make the right choice.
