Choose your Middle Eastern ScholarReader comment on item: Middle East Studies on Trial Submitted by Arlinda DeAngelis (United States), Jun 18, 2004 at 22:30 As our Middle Eastern Scholar is so brilliant of mind and so honest of character, we need not worry about America's choice of Middle Eastern Scholar. We have in Professor Pipes not only a scholar but a man of character and honor. The US Institute for Peace has become a more credible and more relevant organization for having Professor Pipes on its board. Too bad for the other side. I loved the article and the closing statement was priceless. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
