Islamic threat: myth or real?Reader comment on item: The Islamic Threat Submitted by rac (India), Jun 23, 2009 at 14:58 Dear Mr Daniel Pipes Immigration could create a situation of arithmatic majority when democratic principle will automatically kick in and bring about elected Islamic governments. That would leave no space in which to negotiate. It is not necessary for all the dozens of types of Islams to attain any peace among themselves. It would be simply sufficient for the purposes of getting Islamic governments elected. That would by and in itself be a threat even if they run the countries in Europe like any Muslim majority State. Whether there is going to be an ideological threat or no, there is definitely a threat of legislatures being filled with Muslims even of dissenting sects, but still with common interests. regards rac
