Iranian disinvitationReader comment on item: Washington to Tehran: You Can't Come to My Birthday Party Submitted by Gene Bodzin (Canada), Jun 28, 2009 at 16:09 The Canadian government disinvited the Iranians to Canada Day celebrations (July 1) only last week. I was not aware that the US government still had its ear on Ottawa, but it seems to have taken its cue from the Harper government and kept its hot dogs and fireworks for more friendly delegations.
