Now they can't complain that the US didn't respect themReader comment on item: Ahmadinejad Threatens Obama Submitted by Rachel Garber (United States), Jun 28, 2009 at 22:06 All during GWB adminstration, the Iranians were complaining that the US didn't respect them, didn't care about them, yadda yadda. So this president shows some consideration, talk nice about them and to them, then when there is a crisis like this, well they show their true colors. They whine and whine about the West not respecting them, puleeze. That is their usual rhetoric, wah wah, nobody respects us, that's why we have to destroy you, wah, wah, that's why we have to make war, because you don't show us any respect. That's not why they are mad at the West, that's just their sorry a-- excuse. So now they are showing where they really stand. You can't talk nice to them, they don't understand nice, they just wanted an excuse to be mad at the West, well we blew their cover. Now we don't have to pretend to be friends with them, because they don't want to be friends. that was just him playing games. I'm glad Obama "reached out to them", now they no longer have an excuse. We have criticized other "friends" but they didn't make all kinds of threats to us, so now we know, they really didn't want to be friends. They weren't looking for respect, that was just an excuse.
