Dialogue is GoodReader comment on item: CAIR Distributes 100,000 Korans; Overtly Proselytizes Submitted by Sean (Jordan), Jul 13, 2009 at 12:55 Kudos to your arguement. Of course the issue of religious freedom in those states needs to be raised...and CAIR seems well-poised to do so. But by the same token, our values aren't served by waiting for others to live out those values before we apply them ourselves. What is wrong with spreading your religion's message in a reasonable way...such as passing out your scripture? There are agressive forms of proselytizing that should be condemned. But if you believe that your religion is true, concern for your fellow human beings mandates that you at least offer to explain this truth to them. I hope more Christians will do the same. Dialogue between the two religions is most likely to result in more Christian converts. Those who convert to Islam probably had little or no religion to begin with, and so might be better off with something rather than nothing.
