How soon we forget!

The chronic "amnesia", stupidity, prejudice, and gullability of folks around the world regarding Palestinians never ceases to amaze me. The world community is quick to condemn Israel as an Apartheid, Racist, and Fascist state in their dealings with Palesinians.

For those lovers of truth....here's my two cents: One of the common Palestinian Myths about the mass expulsion of Palestinians from Israel in 1947/48, was that the Jews would torture, kill, plunder, and rape Palestinians. Hence, there was a concerted effort by the local Muftis, in cooperation with the surrounding Arab States, to frighten the endemic Arab Populations of "Palestine" to flee from the "murderous hordes of Zionist Jews." The endemic Arab populations..(I guess some called themselves "Phillistines"...?) were not forced off their land by the emerging government of Israel. In fact, most endemic Arabs were encouraged to stay and live in peace with their Jewish neigbors!!!

During the first Gulf War..an unbelievable number of "Palestinians" (over 1000,000) who had lived in Saudi Arabia all their lives, were forcibly exiled. Ironically, over the years, smaller numbers were exiled from Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon.....So, our Arab Cousins should not throw stones at Israel.

You want to talk about racism and forced expulsion: Thousands of Jews who lived in Arab Countries for centuries were exiled, property confiscated, beaten, abused, raped, tortured, mutilated by Arabs in Syria, Egypt, and Iraq! ( Lets not forget the infamous Arab Pograms during the 20's and 30's where endemic Jews who lived in Jerusalem and the West Bank for generations were brutally tortured, raped, plundered and murdered by their Arab neighbors!)

So if one wants to talk about "Ethnic Cleansing".....people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones! Is Israel totally blameless in the poor treatment of Palesinians....NO....but certainly Israel's record is a heck of a lot better towards Palestinians then the Arab/Palestinian record towards Israelis and Jews!
