I Do not agree with you Dr. PipesReader comment on item: "Iraqis Evict Palestinian Refugees" Submitted by Debanjan Banerjee (India), Jul 24, 2009 at 05:48 Dr. Pipes, I do not agree with your above comment that Palestinian refugees can not get asylum in USA simply for the reason that they are not useful against the Islamic government in Iran. By that argument , the refugees from Darfur in Sudan should also not be liable to get asylum in USA since they are also not that useful against Iran. Kindly answer. And on your contention that the past sins of the MEK (and they are quite serious sins) should be forgiven for the matter that this group is now useful against Iran is also not a valid argument. US government previously worked with people like Osama Bin Laden who can also be categorized as anti-Shiite and thereby useful against Iranian government. Does that mean Israel and the USA should approach the likes of Osama for stopping the Iranian nuclear program ? Kindly answer. Thanks & Regards Debanjan

There is no record that the U.S. government worked with bin Laden; and if it, I condemn that. Reader comments (9) on this item
