Political Opportunism and Racism Promoting Muslim Interests

Reader comment on item: Western Conquerors or Liberators of Muslims?

In the West, a combination of political opportunism and racism is flaming Islamic fundamentalism and intolerance.

Muslim immigrants and economic refugees are seen as a major vote bank by politicians. In Canada, the Liberal Party of Canada (now in opposition), has put great pressure on the immigration department to facilitate the immigration of Muslims from the Maghreb, the Middle East, and Pakistan and Bangladesh. The party has also made Canada's refugee requirements extremely lax for Muslim refugee claimants, such that most refugee claimants that are obviously falsely claiming persecution are easily granted asylum. The great majority of Muslims vote for the Liberal Party, and consequently, are highly valued by Liberal politicians. As white Canadians and Hindus and Sikhs move away from the corrupt Liberal Party, Muslims are a vote bank that the party can not afford to let go of. So Muslims will continue to enter Canada in vast numbers, even though many Muslims will wind up on welfare for the rest of their lives and be an economic burden on Canadians.

In addition to political opportunism, racism is also promoting the Muslim agenda. Racism against Jews and Hindus is very strong in Canada, the UK, and countries such as Australia. Racism against Jews is historically very deep, and in part, bred of the belief that Jews are a privileged minority. Racism against Hindus has arisen from the belief that Hindus, and Mahatma Gandhi in particular, have been responsible for the destruction of the British Empire.

Because of politics and prejudice, we in the West have turned a blind eye to the rising tide of Islamic fundamentalism in our growing Muslim communities. And we have turned our back against Israel and India. Both these countries are surrounded by fundamentalist Islamic countries that want nothing more than to destroy their infidel neighbor. We pour countless millions into supporting Pakistan, a country that hates the very hand that feeds it. They want our money, but they conspire against us. And our money will be used to fund religious schools and jihad camps that, in the end, will seek to destroy us because we are not Muslim.
