ProfilingReader comment on item: Western Conquerors or Liberators of Muslims? Submitted by Dave Matters (United States), Sep 5, 2009 at 02:48 Regarding: Ayub Ali Khan and Jaweed Azmath, two Indian Muslims, were men arrested on 9/12 while riding a train and carrying about $5,000 in cash, black hair dye and boxcutters were detained for a year on suspicion of being part of the 9/11 operation. Eventually exonerated and freed, they claimed to have been profiled. This is self-evidently correct: Had the two not been Muslim, the police would have had little interest in them and their boxcutters. Damn I hate the U.S. They should burn in hell for this profiling. Just because these gentlemen had extra cash and "boxcutters". Why gee Wally, I know a lot of people who jump on a train with 5 grand in their pocket and boxcutters. lol Give me a break. Sob story. Get over it - I feel no pity for these detainees. Maybe I should put on a ski mask and walk into a bank. Maybe then I could sue the bank for busting my ass to the ground for being an idiot with a wearing a mask in a bank. Folks - you can be clever and post little snide remarks on these web sites but in order to get the real perspective - put down your latte and Mac Powerbook and go spend a year living amongst your fellow brethren in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain or Mogadishu. Start talking your crazy ...and see where it gets you. I hope you don't suffer the fearful wrath of profiling while you're over there.
