Such rationalisation by Muslims about the life and personality of Mo in the face of overwhelming evidence is a real cause for concern. Of even more concern is the lack of any action or desire by moderate Muslims to tone down the rhetoric of the vocal Islamists intent on spewing their poison throughout the civilized world. The fact that 99.9% of tunhinged people with access to powerful destructive technologies are Muslim seems to be being toned down by Western governments - despite it being common knowledge amongst its citizens. It can be put down to politicians wanting to keep onside increasingly large blocs of vote from muslms and muslim sympathizers.

But the double standards aren't holding up to well - people say what they see , form their own judgements and take note of the duplicity. As each week goes by - another atrocity occurs somewhere in the world.. Behind these events of course are Islamic activists doing what Allah and other assorted voices in their heads (and in their mosques) tell them to do. We get to see the results of their actions on our TV screens. Then we hear the tired old line from muslims residing in western countries who need to defuse the situation so that they can continue to live unchallenged in their host societies - by saying that these are not the real muslims etc (Of course they would say that wouldn't they?)

Why they bother maintaining their myths is hard to fathom - but they do.

Basically Islam needs at the very least a massive revision in its core beliefs so that miltant islamism has no raison d'etre. I can't see this happening any time soon - as that would merely put one group of muslims against another (more than they are at present). Unfortnately humanity will continue to lurch forward, suffering one senseless tragedy after another until such time as people say enough is enough and governments take sterner action to stifle this blight on humanity
