The sanction of evil

I know nothing of Professor Robinson other than what is contained in this article. However, I wonder if he has considered the likelihood that it is precisely because his "views on criminal justice are well known", that he was offered this project. If the professor's reputation is as described above, the only thing he will achieve is to give a Western sanction to evil. I suspect his willingness to do so is why he was selected.
