I concur!

My name is Sarah (real name) and I am a born Muslim. My parents converted to Islam early in the 60's, obviously of their own free will. They are both professors and so am I. I wear the hijab and can frankly tell you that neither my parents or I have any political affiliations. We are liberal, easygoing, peace loving citizens of Australia and wear the hijab for spiritual reasons, and it is no different to women wearing a saree, shaving off their heads or tinting their hair blue.

We do not condone violence, which I assume is obvious by now. My request to all of you (with respect) is to do your own research and comprehend that Muslims are no different people than Christians or Jews. We have those that practice and are diehards, some that are casual about it and some that barely practice anything.. it is like the five fingers in your hand. Making sweeping generalizations does not help. It is a free world - let them wear the burqa, the bikini or the saree - who cares! Find something to keep you occupied and mind your own business..and no they are not out to destroy you unless you harm them or make them retaliate. It is common sense!
