"Totalitarianism" - ? Not at all ...

You have a free gift from God - life, to do with whatever you wish. Use your life in any way you wish,but understand, God gave you that life. He gives you plenty of time to consider his agenda.

You don't like the truth? Ok, state your objection to truth. On the other side is eternity in paradise with a God that promises absolute adherence to truth. He loves you passionately and knows your wishes and desires better than you do yourself. He promises a bucket load "heaping over and spilling out" -more than you can imagine.

I can take you all the way back to the thread where he gives a part of himself - the Word who was in the beginning with God, and was God. He's been in perfect communion with the second person of God with perfect love for all eternity. He seperated that communion himself with absolute compliance by all parties. The price paid to buy man into paradise with a perfect God, was payment himself, and that was a horrific if you ever decide to take the time to ponder it for yourself. For the first time in all eternity the love within the triune God was seperated. He "despised" the shame, derision, spitting, and unimaginable pain to buy what he wanted most.

What he wanted most was to bail out the highest being of his creation, those that he loved lierally to death. He conquered that death, but at terrible cost to himself.

Does that sound so terribly totalitarian of the God who created you and everything you love? And, then offers you paradise forever? At what cost to us? Jesus "despised" the horrors that the Roman soldiers put him through.

What's your cost to follow and obey truth as opposed to a lie? You still have the God given right to live out this life in anyway you choose, but what's a lifetime compared to eternity?

Again, I challenge you. Read it for yourself and tell me what Christ said - anything - that doesn't ring true. Better yet, ask him for yourself right at the center of your gut (heart). And, again, you can make excuses forever, but don't lie to yourself. You will never forgive yourself on that last die of your life. All the privileges of a temporary position in this life will never be worth it.
