This vote is a terrible thing, a prime example of de Tocqueville's tyranny of the majority. There are two main issues: 1. When demographics or influence from changing demographics shift to the Muslims (or the majority of votes, which will happen sooner), they could vote to ban church bells or images of Moses and Jesus or God knows what else using this as prime support for legitimacy. Europe beware. 2. This punishes the whole population of Muslims rather than support mainstream Muslims in policing their own extremist wings; a big mistake.
