O/T question re quote in today's National Post

Reader comment on item: Bibliography – My Writings on Being Mangled by Leftists and Islamists

Mr. Pipes: You have been quoted as follows in an article in today's National Post:

Daniel Pipes, a scholar on radical Islam and former advisor to Rudolph Giuliani during his U.S. presidential campaign, said, "The U.K. is a menace to the outside world. It's been a problem for years now. This is just one more example."

The slant of the article, entitled "US blames U.K. for raising extremists" is that the U.S. is blaming the U.K. for failed terrorist Abdulmutallab's airline attack (which of course does not explain homegrown Hasan's murderous attack on Ft. Hood).

So, I'm wondering if there's part of your response which was not quoted by the National Post (using U.K. Telegraph and NYT files ... which I haven't checked yet!)

Thanks.

Daniel Pipes replies:

The quote is accurate and is taken from the Telegraph, as you indicate.

Here is more on that subject: "British Muslims – A Global Threat."
