Oh No!! This is a violation of religious freedom and IslamophobiaReader comment on item: Niqabs and Burqas Banned at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Submitted by Susan (United States), Dec 27, 2009 at 01:20 Coming from left-wing Massachusetts, this is a real shocker. I would expect them encourage burkas to show how tolerant, enlightened, and unafraid they are of innocent, peaceful Muslims. After all, Christianity is the root of all evil and radical, maniacal Christians are the real threat. Muslims have become the most prominent special-interest minority group and the darlings of the victimhood mongers on the left, the engine of the grievance industry. What would they do if they had no persecuted, oppressed "minorities" to defend? Have the Islamic advocacy groups begun their requisite campaign to smear everyone involved with this decision, accusing them of "islamophobia" and demanding that they be fired and Muslimas be allowed to "practice" Islam as guaranteed by the First Amendment? Whenever I hear politicians, pundits, et al wax outrage and indignation at the plight of "minorities" at the mercy of evil white people, I recall that white people comprise less than ten percent of the global population. I am not guilty of slavery, racism, or the crimes of my ancestors but I fear that many future generations of whites will continue to be held accountable and expected to expand payment of their eternal debt to the hordes of "minorities". At some point this will become untenable and I hope the social engineers have a back-up plan.
