Phyllis Chesler is so right.

Recently, when going back to the country I was born in, for an urgent burial of my father, my body was so much searched in the airport, as others were, that I ended up losing my connection. They asked several questions, I guess b/c my English is not an American one, OBVIOUSLY, looked at several documents, not once but 3 times in different points. Indeed, many of the workers looked "so macho"- so brave.

Was my English, or was me begging for letting me pass, opening in advance all my belongings, cooperating more than expected IN ADVANCE, b/c I was afflicted by probably not being able to show up at my beloved father's burial. Perhaps, my affliction meant in their minds that somebody was intending to "deceive" the "brave" workers, kind of a disguise- who knows...

They saw my Jewish name in my passport, was that the reason? Were they to do that to a passenger with an Islamic name in the same affliction- I guess "nope"- Muslims have terrorists CAIR's smoothing their path? The more afflicted I was getting, the more they were against me. At one point especially, they made me go back to pass again through the metal detector machine, then they blew that air in the chamber on me, and then asked more question...

Shouldn't we feel safe for so much "efficiency"....The terrorist above is not even in the non fly list, after being proved him guilty as terrorist, by the name (Islamic) Al Qaida?

Ah, when coming back to the US, after showing all documents, I was asked 4 questions. B/c of the intonation in English of the official that at first attended me was not understood by me, making me ask him to repeat again the question- b/c I did not understand, he got harshly angry.

Green Card, two passports, proof of residency at first, all docs were not enough. Questions came and when asked for one more thing, which took me a couple of seconds to find in my bag, he got nervous- I guess It was a sign I was preparing myself to blow up them. And, by the end I answered:
"Thank you for your service, Sir"… (So much for that- I thought).

Chessler is right about the "Body cavities"!

Don't you all feel safe with so much efficiency in the airports efficiency to muslim/Islamists of course.
