Obama, I tell you point-blank: stop being a bit player when it comes to terrorism.

Distinguish when idealism stops and the practical begins. Come to grips with the reality.

Policy of airports putting more emphasis on screening people coming from countries that are havens of terrorists - policy deep-sixed?

Releasing prisoners from Guantamo Bay and the prisoners ending up with Al Queda in the Middle East plotting terrorism against New York City?

That was the case months ago on a failed attempt, and I read that in the NY Times.

It is not as if Obama wasn't warned that such could spell disaster. Chenny had repeatedly told him he was playing with fire.

Should we learn the hard way?

Should it come to a wake-up call emanating from a successful execution of a terrorist attack?

Now, today, the NY times reports on another case: the failed subway attack in NYC.

Ok, so under the Obama administration, and only in the span of 1 year, there were three attempts at terrorism in the US while on Bush's watch for 8 years there were none (of course excluding 9/11) Fill in the blanks, how about the coming second year - and what if the attempt is successful this time around?

Dr Pipes, please help me out on this point. I live in NYC. I ride the subways. I, unlike most of the country, am not out of harm's way on such.
