What this post is saying is that in original 7th century Islam, a non muslim could live in muslim lands and drink alcohol, eat pork, have sex with other unmarried, or even married persons, dress as they wished etc etc. This is just not true. The original muslims were commanded by Mohamad to convert non muslims to Islam by force and under threat of death. The only exceptions were "people of the book" which were Jew and Christians, but even they had to live as "dimmas" and pay a special tax "jizya" which was just extortian money to be allowed to remain living in the conquered muslim land without converting to Islam.

Even though they paid the tax they had many restrictions imposed on them as well. They basically had to live as 10th class citizens which would make being a black in the south just after the civil war seem just dandy by comparison. I don't know where all these assumptions come from, but the Koran and ahadith is full of commands to convert, subjugate, kill, inslave and otherwise wipe from the face of the earth all unlslamic faiths, behaviour, customs, dress, music, and ways of life........until in all the world only Allah is worshipped. The post above just sounds like another apologist trying to blame the west for all of Islams evils. In other words.........Islam was just perfect before the west stuffed it up, just as it has done to every other superior cultures.....all cultures in other words. Yes it's all just our imagination that muslims rampaged throughout the world forcing their arab imperialism on every country they were strong enough to take over. Just like the cruesades were just typical western christian take over of muslim lands.........mmmmmm......muslim land that were muslim because they had invaded and taken them over from.......western christians actually. Oh, and jews as well. The muslims have always wanted to take over Europe.

How many people know that they nearly succeeded too. After centuries of invading western countries and taking more and more terrortory they were stopped, at the gates of Vienna........how many people know what date that was that we finally started to turn the tide of Islamic expansion........it was the Sept 11.........mmmmmm..........that date rings a bell for some reason. Anyway, I'm not bagging Islam really, it's brutal, bloodthirsty, discrimatory is an understatement, downright intolerant, but the west is being ruled by something just as bad........feminism. Since Islam is the only organised and huge ideology that opposes western feminism that has any chance of stamping it out......they have my support........lesser of two evils.......thats the way I see it.
