Regarding pigs and dhimmisReader comment on item: Ridding the West of Pigs, Pork, Pig Stories, and Piggybanks Submitted by Marian Hennings (United States), Jun 15, 2010 at 00:19 The dhimmis are making themselves look ridiculous in their efforts to appease. The Muslims are not even demanding these changes. It reminds me of something that happened at the University of Washington several years ago when jars of coffee creamer were to be banned because if the c were obscured it would look like "reamer" and might offend gays and lesbians (not that any gays had complained, nor considered doing so). Jokes were made about reams of paper and whatnot until the topic was dropped due to ridicule. What about John Lennon's song "Piggies"? The lyrics to that song are hard to find because he recommended their getting a damned good whacking and described the piggies as dressed in starched white shirts using forks and knives to carve the bacon. Some folks thought those lyrics were too threatening, but I'll note that the cops were called pigs by their critics and their best response was to make a joke of it. The Seattle and Tacoma, Washington police departments had a football game and called it the Bacon Bowl. People get too twisted out of shape by their efforts to be PC and their efforts to not offend anyone end up offending everyone's common sense. Jokes abound as a result - maybe the best result is laughter.
