...... this may be the best because it raises most clearly and starkly the central issue between Islam and the rest of the planet. In other words, is the murderousness of the jihadists and suicide bombers incited and motivated by lethal clerics - especially as practiced against other Moslems whom it can most easily and viciously attack - a deformation of an otherwise peaceful and self-confident religion, or is it the true face and logical behavior of a religion mortally threatened by the competence of prosperous and peaceful societies, especially Israel in its midst, which it can only view with a consuming envy and hatred instead of feeling respect and a desire to learn from them?

With the 'Pied Piper', and for the reasons so clearly stated by him or her, I firmly believe it is the latter.
