Experience of an iraqi sonReader comment on item: Saddam Hussein Submitted by Mohamad (Australia), Jul 24, 2010 at 02:13 Saddam deserved every cruel event that happened to him and his death was the most suitable. As an iraqi born in Iran (parents forced to evacuate, only safe place with relatives --> Iran) and moved to Australia as a refugee in 1999, i am now suffering the consequences. In the end of 2008, my family returned to iraq to see my relatives for the 1st time in nearly 10yrs... these relatives of mine, i have never even met before, and as you;d expect, i lived most of my lyf in Australia and thus my English was my 1st language and my arabic well... it was dodge... so the primary need of a relationship was impossible... i culdnt communicate efficiently with my own FAMILY :( even scarier, now my parents want to go back to iraq permanently and i have to go back with them.
