Threat to U.S. economy by Nuclear IranReader comment on item: Interview with the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry Submitted by Marvin Gerber (United States), Jul 25, 2010 at 11:34 I keep hearing that a Nuclear Iran is unacceptable. But, I don't hear discussion about the effect on the US economy when Iran get the bomb. The last election in large part was decided by the economy not foreign affairs. Politics is local. True, an attack on Iran will spike the price of oil in the short run-but what will the price of oil be with a nuclear Iran in the long run? Will a nuclear Iran provide funds for more terrorism that might reach America, let alone Israel? The case for Israel is easy. It seems that the American public and congress doesn't understand all the implications of Iranian nukes. Iran doesn't have to throw a bomb to get what it wants. There should be a discussion about EMP and the threat to America. My point is "what's in it for America"
