There is No Fear of Islam Where There is the Love of Almighty God of the BibleReader comment on item: Once considered anti-Islam, senior scholar says he's now in the middle Submitted by M. Tovey (United States), Aug 23, 2010 at 19:20 An interesting observation here; that if one understands correctly, one should allow Islam to infuse one's sensitivities towards such things and all will be well. Adopt a reluctance to do so, and be identified by one with distinctly Muslim sensitivities as being panic stricken. While the world is becoming awash with Islam in every corner, the warnings by anti-Muslim sensitivities may very well taken as a sign of things to come. Do we debate semantics here? Ask an Israeli. Ask the survivors of the September 11, 2001 attacks in New York, or the attacks in Britain, Spain, and elsewhere. The list is long and complex. Are we still to maintain that Islam is not going to follow through with the precepts that the fundamentalist Islamic practitioner requires from all who have not yet succumbed to its requirements? As is supposed here, that depends upon the perspective. Those that subscribe to Islam are confident that eventually Islam will be pervasive, if not completely infused in every society of the world. Even further, were the fundamentalist practitioners allowed their way, shari'a would be the rule globally. It is too bad for such sensibilities; for they might get close, but in the end, they will find that even with nuclear abilities, it will never be complete. To be sure, western modernism will never have the ability to be transcendent beyond a humanist mentality that mankind has some inherent ability to be as good as the Muslim mentality expects from its adherents. Thus, even the 'moderate' Muslim' is faced with making the transition to fundamentalist Islam, or come under the judgment of shari'a. Not here is an agreement, that mere barricading will not help in the cause of resisting Islam. True defense of the mind over the precepts that are the basis of Islam must come from the heart. Islam has been projected as many and varying things to the human mindset, that it has the logic and other ideological regimens to convince many that Islam is a superior way of life, but fails when it comes to the issues that are conditions of the human heart. Not recognizing where the truth of love comes from, Islam destroys when it cannot win the heart to its ways. No one except Almighty God of the Holy Bible can reach the heart, especially when the heart is ready to embrace its insufficiency and be subjected to the love of Almighty God. And yes, this is a central massage of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, of His death on the cross, His burial and resurrection that provides the one thing Islam cannot, remission of sins for a repentant heart. Only through Jesus Christ, the Person Islam cannot presume to own in religious expression for the lack of its understanding of Who Jesus Christ is, is there salvation for the individual, and redemption for the corporate body of true Christianity. Now, to the question: who is afraid of Islam? Well, many are even those who profess a Christian way of life. But a true disciple of Jesus Christ has nothing, absolutely nothing, to fear from Islam. The distance of the religious argument in railing against Islam and the Biblical truth that cannot be reached by any argument of Islam is unfathomable. Islam cannot reach the truth it denies, and there is not a logical argument from any other mindset not imbued with the truth of Jesus Christ that can do so either. So to try and differentiate the nuances of 'moderate' practices from fundamentalist/extremist activities of Islam is an academic discussion that will end when Islam has achieved the most that humanity will allow. There will be no middle of the road. From there, the impenitent heart will take over and proceed to destroy what it cannot conquer without love. Then the only thing remaining will be, and always has been, the love of Almighty God for those who have sought the truth of Him in their hearts and lives. Where there is His Love, there is no fear.
