Islam, a threat to Christ?Reader comment on item: The Islamic Invasion: Confronting the World's Fastest Growing Religion Submitted by Lars (United States), Nov 8, 2004 at 12:35 I find the comment: "Christians no longer expect to take their faith to the Muslims but fear conversions of their own to Islam." very interesting, regardless of who says it. Since a Christian, according the the Holy Bible, cannot "convert" to another belief, because in reality, if a person has accepted Jesus as their Savior, the Holy Spirit indwells the believer for his/her life here on Earth. In other words, one cannot "lose" one's salvation or swith to another salvation. I may decide to play a mindgame on myself and think I'm now a Muslim, in that I now want Allah to be my God, but in truth, because there is only one true God, which is not Allah, you can't shift your faith to someone who doesn't exist in your original belief system. ..So if someone claiming to be a Christian "changes" faith, then their original faith was really not earnest and real, only superficial. Therefore, a Christian has no need to "fear" other faiths, not even other 'gods'. Now people are free to choose to believe in whatever they want, but doesn't mean that what they believe in even exists. I respect their right to choose, that doesn't mean I have to respect the entity, person, or thing they choice. Thank you for the chance to reply to your story.
