MimickingReader comment on item: Mirror Image: Palestinians Continue to Mimic Zionism Submitted by Jay1 (United States), Jan 21, 2011 at 22:17 Dr. Pipes, it seems is pointing out that the Palestinians are replicating the process Israel went through leading up to the establishment of the Jewish state. It includes land buying, currency creation, city building ,symphony crowds and recognition seeking. Make no mistake, the Palestinians are making headway. More than 130 countries have said they recognize this still, a bit undefined ,Palestinian state. Though again make no mistake, the Palestinians have the exact dots and dashes ready to be declared. Despite the illusions of negotiations, the Palestinians are doing what they have always done. They are going for the every square inch of the deal. The timing is even intriguing. While Israel turns and tosses over Iran, surrounded by Hamas,Hezbollah, and always Syria, the Palestinians are sprintng to the finish line. They feel a degree of comfort one might conclude, with the current American President. At least they dont worry much about him. They are playing to the world ,minus Israel and the USA.They may, as things stand now, grab their deal. Israels politics again and again show they are inept and rather lucky to have had the leaders they had in 1947 to 1948 and "only " in 1947 to 1948. For in those years a few rational Jewish leaders who came together, had the foresight to ask and demand their part of the deal when the music started. It appears the music is starting again. And Israel needs to play their notes louder. Alot louder. They have a bigger symphony now,and the ability to write and self publish their tunes.Might I suggest Israel prepare to declare its notes.Their writing partner is showing to be insincere, diabolic and as luck would have it, mimicking and stealing the Jewish states oldest hit tunes.
