Analyzing the Turmoil [in Egypt]Reader comment on item: Analyzing the Turmoil [in Egypt] Submitted by Balarabe Abba (Nigeria), Feb 15, 2011 at 06:28 Mr. Pipes, Israelis are much more sincere and objective when they say, Democracy in the Arab States will not be in their interest and security. All the Arab/Islamic countries could transform to what you describe Turkey after years of suppression. The solution is to allow autocrat like Mubarak and Co. One big mistake is the way America and the West allowed Mubarak to be humiliated. By allowing him to go in same manner so is all his legacies not matter how long it takes. May be the same period it takes Turks to formulate their new form of Islamism. I appreciate Dick Cheney for highlighting this issue.
