RespectReader comment on item: Obama and Qaddafi Submitted by Nick (United Kingdom), Mar 5, 2011 at 12:13 Obama bowed as a sign of respect to the Saudi King, because he is a King, and to respect such customs as are appropriate in such situations. He also wished to show respect to the Arab and Muslim world, again whcih I applaud him for. There was nothing wrong with what Obama did and ... As for Qadafi, there is no reason Obama or anyone would bow to him, Qadafi is not royalty and should not be treated as such, he is a tyrant and mad dictator. Submitting....
