Whether or not the elections in Egypt were above board or below a pyramid is not our problem.The coalition between the army and the Muslim Brotherhood assures the continuity of peace with Israel, because the army will not give up US subsidies, and will act as a check on the more extreme Islamic elements that surged forward in the elections.

As for Mohemmed ElBaraedi - he was neither a friend of the US or of Israel, and his not running for president should not elicit tears.
