DP: incisive and perceptive

I do not know of any commentator who gets to the heart of issues as well as Daniel Pipes. He sees their content, funnels them through his vast experience and knowledge, coming out with comprehensible pithy analysis.

This item is no exception. His analysis is sober, never emotional. Would that there were more like him, instead of all the nonsensical fear-mongers and charlatans who are out there offering their "thoughts'.
