re:Current problemsReader comment on item: NRO Symposium: "Fatal Arab Spring" Submitted by George Tomkin (United States), Sep 14, 2012 at 13:09 We have been apologizing for 3 1/2 yrs for being the most benevolent country in history. This apologetic attitude and our reliance on the United Nations' approval for any action IS A BLATANT SIGN OF WEAKNESS.We did not act after the first Tower bombing, we did not act when the high rises were blown up in Africa,we did not act when some 30 of our servicemen were killed on the USS Cole We are telling those that want to kill us and bring America down that we are a paper tiger. Our threats are meaningless because we lack the resolve to carry them out. They laugh at our threats while planning new attacks more obscene than 9/11. It is up to Americans to vote the naive incompetents out in Nov. Daniel Pipes' analysis is brilliant as usual, if only everyone could read and hear him. GLT
