nuclear site(s) strikeReader comment on item: Ahmadinejad at the United Nations Submitted by Dusan Milutinovic (Canada), Sep 25, 2012 at 12:46 One of the points brought up in the interview regarding the possibility of Israeli strikes similar to Osirak et al. doesn't discuss what seems to me to be an important consideration. The earlier strikes never had the counterproductive publicization of the likelihood of strikes by Israel, particularly coming from American authorities, advertising that Israel has such plans. Now the world is on alert, including the presumed target country. Iran should be grateful that its 'operatives' in the WH staff a la Clinton and her advisor have been careful to publicly betray the most steadfast US ally it has known next to Canada. I wouldn't mind hearing more thoughts on this consideration. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
