Reader comment on item: Superficiality Reigns Before the Election

Daniel

Where have you been? We live in a country of 'low information,' single issue voters, populated by a sound bite, reality TV, slogan oriented, electorate. The MAD MEN of the campaign organizations have understood this for some time. Both sides are guilty. But, the degree to which Romney has pressed his RESET button, over and over and over and then has avoided answering any questions from the press corp since debate #3, for me, wins the award for chutzpa. You do have a body of work from Obama that you can criticize. What do you really know about Romney? Be truthful. Is he the severe conservative, the neocon, the moderate, the peacenik? Maybe it won't matter come November 7.
