Following the Commandments: Love God; Love the Neighbor - The Heart of the Christmas Story

If faith in Yeshua HaMashiach was based upon human thinking, then you might have had a point. The problem with your insistence that your viewpoint should be the prevailing one is that it is based upon human thinking and logic by your own admission. Had you been taught the true meaning behind the Christmas story, then you would have had the chance to know the Real Truth.

Instead, you were taught and chose to believe the lies perpetrated long before the virgin birth of Yeshua, culminating with even certain of the Jewish leadership turning against Him for the very same unbelief you have today. In matter of fact, the very propositions that the ruling people of the first appearance of Yeshua had that since He did not force a Jewish takeover of the Roman government is that without the manifestation of absolute power, they would not accept Him as HaMashiach. Thus, they participated in sending Him to the cross in answer to the prophecies concerning Him.

You are still indicating that al-Madhi is supposed to appear sometime prior to the return of Yeshua. That is in fact, an interesting predicament for the world to contemplate. The people who understand the Revelation that someone is supposed to appear prior to Yeshua HaMashiach follows some peculiarly similar pattern, but with decidedly different results.

When Yeshua was in Israel the first time, He told His disciples of the things to look for at the time of His return, doing so in preparation for completing His mission of salvation, which is the real purpose of the Christmas story. Much of Israel did not believe Him then, but they have the prophetic assurances of the time in the future (that time is now, by the way; and you're part of it) foretold by Moses and certified by the WORD of Truth of Yeshua HaMashiach.

Now, interestingly, you say: "who follow God's commands is saved." Here is caution: be careful who you call god, for no mere mortal can claim to be God and get away with it; nor can one point to a false god and expect that deity to save and expect salvation. Yeshua has the credentials of being the Savior and Holy One of Israel and of those who have believed in Him for their personal salvation. No one else can make that claim. So yes, when He does return, His truth will be revealed; first from His love; then from His power to guarantee that love.
