Denying Terrorism and Bringing it to Center Stage

If "to pretend terrorism is not occurring nearlly guarantees it will recur," and feeding terrorism's lust for media coverage also guarantees it will recur, what hope have we poor innocents trembling at the edge of our civilized, peace-loving seats?

It seems to me that the global media is entirely too soft on the violence wrought by these Islamist thugs. Let's call them what they are: religious gangsters; let's call their rampages what they are: murders. As long as we continue to suffer our journalists to sanitize these murderous acts of hate with apologist ideological jargon, the situation is hopeless. The word "terror" and the expression "suicide bomber" are namby terms which don't even begin to conjure the ghastliness of their referent.
