Double standardsMessage To Neila Charchour HachichaReader comment on item: Professor [Shahid Alam] Compared Terrorists to Founding Fathers Submitted by Dr. Jamshid Ibrahim (United States), Feb 9, 2005 at 16:17 Thank you for your words. But as you know the problem is: the double standards with which they accuse America and other West European countries has in fact been practised by them since time immortal. They are also incessantly accusing America of only minding its own interests. But tell me, can you pick out one single country in the world including all Middle Eastern countries which act on sheer humane reasons?. You have seen their contribution to Tsu Nami victims. This is a shame. People who are not Muslims are simply infidels and only deserve death. So why do they go to the countries of the infidels? As a woman, you know well that women are practically made invisible. I wonder how can a society progress if a very important part of its population is simply not present (out of sight), not respected or kept like cattle inside certain boundaries. You need to open their eyes to see the reality. Perhaps self-criticism is a possible therapy if there is no shock-therapy available.Regards Dr. Jamshid Ibrahim Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
