The Religion of Charlie Windsor

I disagree with Ali Sina's assessment of how liking islam is a cover for a reactionary man to appear liberal, even if there may be a grain of truth to it. In Charles Windsor's case, I think that the man wants some sort of spiritual anchor, and a Church of England that has been oh-so-politely ditching every last one of the Thirty-Nine Articles over the years just doesn't offer it. Indeed, like so many other "mainstream" ex-Protestant denominations (Cranmer, Ridley, Tyndale, and others are probably rolling over in their graves), the CofE is a timid, craven Me-too doing all the running it can to remain a respectful five paces behind its cultured despisers.

At least Muslims know what they believe, even if it includes much that no biblically-literate Christian could ever credit.
