On this site I have before stated that Christians should not undertake any doctrinal talks with the Muslims. "We have nothing to learn from you", they say.
According to some scattered pieces of news the Pope's Curia has taken soundings how to restart contacts with Muslims.
IMHO I regard these interfaith discussions sheer lunacy, sheer utter hare-brained lunacy.

But what if these Roman catholics all along have known they are playing with fire? Deliberately playing games with the adversary?
