Magdi Allam v Zakaria Botros and IslamReader comment on item: Tariq Ramadan, Magdi Allam, and Me - Updates Submitted by dhimmi no more (United States), Mar 26, 2013 at 07:28 Magdi Allah reminds me very much of Father Zakaria Botros. Both are anti-Islam and both expose islam for what it is: anti-reason, anti-human and a violent religion and that there is nothing spritual about it. And both want to see the west viewing islam as a real threat to democracy and human rights and in the case of Father Zakaria he is for sure not anti-Muslims However, the real problem is that our leaders in the west think that Islam is like any other religion and that it is the ridiculous "religion of peace" and that jihad means spiritual struggle and that those that call it holy war are islamophobes Would the west lose the battle with islam? I hope not Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
