Well, perhaps it is indeed time for a tradeoff. Maybe Israel would drop Judaism as the official state religion if the following countries dropped their official religions:

Buddhism: Cambodia

Islam: Algeria, Bangladesh, Brunei, Egypt, Iraq, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Islamic Republic of Iran, Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Jordan, Malaysia, Maldives, Morocco, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Western Sahara, Yemen

Orthodox Christianity: Belarus, Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Greece, Georgia (country), Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine

Protestantism: Denmark (excluding Faroe Islands), England (Anglicanism), Finland, Iceland, Norway

Catholicism: Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Holy See, and a few other locations in Italy
