President Obama's statement will now openly test the religious tolerance of Muslims. Freedom of choice is a central precept in dedicating one's own service to a higher power. Without the freedom to serve individually no religious faith can be sincere. Enforced religious behavior only allows the arrogant to lead the inadequate. The Koran can only ring true if its followers allow others to seek their own destiny before God and to allow God to judge the individual.
