Reader comment on item: Islamism's Decade of Spreading Polio

What better story to highlight Karl Marx's characterization of religion as the "opium of the people". This does not even qualify as radical islam or politcal islam. I shall call this "ignorant islam". While we in the West all stopped believing in the Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and the like, one muslim cleric tops it all. If only the consequences were as benign as Easter eggs.
Stories like this one belong in school text-books about religious education.
