Assessing the current Syrian Chemical crisis

Reader comment on item: Assessing Current Developments in Turkey

Submitted by Michael Hanni Morcos (Canada), Sep 3, 2013 at 23:16

I'm strongly reminded by the Cuban missile crisis with JFK and Nickita Crutchev --the only difference is Syria with chemical weapons and Cuba with nuclear weapons.Mr s Obama and Putin are blatantly different players--that are raising the risk levels to a 9.99 out of 10.o----i also believe that both sides -Assad and rebels are both guilty of atrocious behaviors as chemical weapons to throwing people off buildings and beheadings Etc. etc. And they should Both be accountable --the only solution will be a political one agreed and worked with Washington and Moscow and not with Tehran and Riyadh . And while you are at it let's keep a 100 year old promise we made to our kids to ban all Chemical weapons from the planet --No more Holocausts .... no more Nuclear Iran either .... Thank You .........
