Just trifles among IslamistsReader comment on item: Global Ramifications of the Anti-Muslim Brotherhood Campaign in Egypt Submitted by Alain Jean-Mairet (Switzerland), Nov 2, 2013 at 02:16 The Ikhwan and their allies are attacked in Egypt indeed, but hardly on religious ground, hardly because they are Islamists as opposed to moderate Muslims. The Egyptian army lobby is recovering what they considers their due, with billions of Wahhabi help--Saudis support the Brotherhood where it is struggling against non-Muslims, and crush it where it is undermining their supremacy. And the rest is just small beer. What we see is a few colliding waves on the surface of the Muslim ocean. Islamist business as usual. It says hardly anything about a fight between "Muslims" and "Islamists". It just manifests the social and political chaos characteristic of and inherent to the large scale practice of the Muslim religion.
